For this royal wedding directly inspired by classic Parisian architecture, Olivier Dolz conceived the two football pitches wide space as a genuine construction project, on a scale never done before, reminiscing of the Garnier Opera House of Paris as well as the Palace of Versailles. Seconded by French architects and traditional tapestry makers, Olivier Dolz designed a unique layout featuring – for the first time ever – ten slightly elevated balconies, offering VIP guests a privileged and private viewpoint on the bride as she was making her grand entrance. A set of twelve hand-decorated, custom-made white and gold ceiling arches shield the kosha while serving as a visual anchor for the exceptionally large space.
